Pleasant Hill Lake Park is ready for Fourth of July holiday this weekend and has many exciting activities planned.
The fun starts Friday (July 2) as children and adults can participate in a bingo tournament. The kids’ bingo starts at 7 p.m. while the adults have their turn at 8 p.m.
On Saturday (July 3) adults can enjoy a craft event at 11 a.m. in the activity building, and children will follow with their own craft session at 1 p.m. At 3 p.m. visitors can soak up the sun and sand with a wide variety of beach activities planned until 5 p.m. at the swimming beach.
Activities conclude with a DJ spinning the music for everyone from 7:30 until 10 p.m.
On Sunday (July 4), a kickball game is scheduled at 11 a.m.
Pleasant Hill Lake Park is open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and admission is $5 per car. A weekly “Family Day” is held each Wednesday during the summer with a reduced per-car admission cost that includes access to all park activities and facilities, including the swimming beach.
