Unlike years past, there will not be a fireworks display at Atwood Lake Park on Memorial Day weekend. This traditional Memorial Day fireworks display is being incorporated into a larger display which is scheduled for Sunday, July 4, 2005, in the Atwood area. This display will be sponsored by Atwood Lake Park, along with Atwood Lake Resort and Conference Center, Atwood Lake Boats, Atwood Lake Yacht Club and other area businesses.
