The park and campground officially open for the summer season Friday (May 23) and plenty of activities are planned for adults and children alike, including the opening of the park’s swimming beach. Events also are planned all summer long through the Labor Day holiday weekend.
Special events planned over the weekend include a Memorial Day service, disc jockey and horseshoe tournament on May 24 (Saturday) and a bicycle parade on May 25 (Sunday).

Overnight camping also is available at a cost of $31 per night for a full hookup (includes electric and sewer service), $26 and $24 for a site with electric and $24 per night for a primitive site.
